The Fraser Walk for Autism typically takes place with over 1,000 people at the Mall of America in April. With the implications of COVID, the traditional event format was no longer an option. Fraser partnered with Do Good Events to strategize a new format of the event, consider all of the event logistics, and execute a first of its kind event.
THE SUCCESS
On August 1, 2020, Fraser and our team came together to make this event a reality. Gathering at the Hope Fieldhouse in Rosemont, we welcomed teams and families to decorate their cars and show up for a reverse parade type of event. Do Good Events managed event logistics included city permitting and its included requirements, supporting the strategy for route mapping, and provided 6 onsite staff to manage zones of the event. We also helped to identify health and safety requirements for the event including mask requirements, the use of grabbers for interacting with attendees, and plans on how to engage families from a 6ft distance.
